Tis the season of giving
It's that time of the year to give wonderful gifts, whether they are handmade or a simple gift card to walmart. I can't wait to see Xue this Thursday! I hope there is no snow this whole week so he can safely get here. I can't wait to see my new netbook and listen to my CD that Xue made. I miss him.

Excited for November!
Xue's coming tomorrow and I can't keep still. Although we've been having a lot of arguments in the pass couple of days, we can make it through this weekend being together. I can't wait to see him! It feels like it's been forever since I've seen him. It has been about a month since I last saw him and I miss him so much!
He got his car running but I told him not to take any chances of his car dying on him on his way up to St.Cloud so he's taking the bus. :D I'll pick up him up in Minneapolis around 9pmish so that's going to be fun!
Aside from all this excited about Xue, I'm super thrilled that everything is a-okay so far for college day. Rehearsal for the skit is going great and it's going to be a funny and inspiring one! Dinner plans are mostly set and will be by the end of this week! Day group leaders and tour guides are always around so they can always get together to talk about ice breakers and activities! I just can't wait! :D

This weekend with Xuey..
Thursday: It was hot and humid and I was so happy to see my babe!! I've gotten so forgetful. So I'm driving towards the cities when I realize, FREAK, I forgot my charger. I also forgot some other little stuff, like my brownie tray, a hair brush, etc. Man I'm such a dumb butt. I guess it's because I was too excited to be going to see Xuey. It's been about a month since we've seen each other and I couldn't be any happier.
When I got there, I told Xue about my charger and other stuff so we went to Walmart to get it. It was about 14 bucks! Danggit! I'm so forgetful. We also bought coffee(instant), juice, and some breakfast snacks.
Friday: My gosh, I could not function without my coffee but that made me kinda hot. I love the new foundation I'm trying although I'm not a big foundation person. I usually just use bareminerals but I haven't been putting a lot of make up on since it's summer and it's freaking humid.
So Xuey works at the St.Mary's Hospital in Madison. His shift was 7-4pm and I wanted to drop him off. So when I dropped him off, I went back to his apartment and watched videos and did the usual internet surfing. I also watched a couple of episodes of some korean dramas, My lovely Sam-Soon and Coffee Prince. I just ♥ them so much!
I was getting into a korean phase so I decided to look up korean supermakets in Madison. I found a couple and decided to take a nice trip. There was construction everywhere so I only went to one--then the rain came. It scared me so much because it was pouring non-stop! I didn't wanna go home but Xue texted me to go home and wait because he still had a few hours left. I decided to gas up then leave. (Man, when I was at the korean store I wanted to get that hot pepper paste so bad!! SHOULD'VE GOTTEN IT!! DOH!) So I left back to the apartment again and watched the documentary I got from the Women's Center.
After that then it was time to pick up Xue, so I left the apartment--again. So I picked him up and went back to the apartment to eat dinner. We ate some spicy chicken stir fry. Well it was super spicy to me. Then we went back to hospital to pick up Meng(Xue's friend). We were debating about going to go see Eat, Pray, Love but there was no good time to watch it since we wanted to eat brownies and ice cream with Susan(The cute girl aka Meng's Wife) and them, since Susan wasn't gonna get off work til 9pm. So we said no the movie since we were both craving some brownies. But we didn't have any trays(since I'm so forgetful about it), we went back to Walmart. We also got ice cream too. At this time, Xue's car was acting weird and making really bad noises.
Once we left Walmart, the sounds got really realy bad. So we took the small roads back to the apartment. When we were driving(about 2 miles from the apartment), the oil light came on and he just turned off the engine and let it roll down the hill. We stopped at the gas station to buy some oil for his car. He filled it up and started the car and the light was still on. So he knelt down to check underneath the car and Xue saw all the oil he poured into his car, outside on the ground. OMG!! Xue said that the nut/bolt(IDK anything about cars) was not there anymore. It fell out so that means that oil will dripping everywhere and the engine is not safe to function. Since we weren't that far from the aparment, Xue tried driving it back. Once we got going and got to the light and switched into the left lane, some sounded like it snapped off and his car died. SO SAD!! You should've seen Xue's face. It was scary.
He called Chenue(his friend in SP) and had him come over to look at it with him and see what they can do. Since we had ice cream and we didn't want it to melt, Xue told me to just walk back to the apartment and I did. When I got back, I was so worried that I called Xue if he needed me there or something but he said no. I felt so usless.
That night, his car had to stay in a close by parking lot. He was so frustrated and pissed. Words can't describe it. The only way to Sheboygan was taking my car.
Saturday: This day was another long driving day. The plan was to get Xue's Uncle's truck(Nissan Titan) and his brother-in-law's dolly(in Fond Du Lac) and then get his car(in Madison) and bring it all the way back to his parents' place(in Sheboygan). Mission accomplished by 6pm. It was very tiring, especially for Xue and Blong(another friend). Thanks Blong for coming for support and help. You're awesome! That night we just relaxed with some Thai food at Thai Cafe and some Absolute Zero hookah at Tong's place(another friend, lol).
Sunday: BBQ at his parents' house. It was fun. I decided to make some shrimp-with-peach-drizzled-with-olive-oil-infused-with-lemon-and-basil-sauce kebabs. It was dee-licious! We left Sheboygan around 330ish and got safely back in Madison around 5pm. I took a quick nap before heading back to St.Cloud. I ate a little before I left Xuey. I miss him so much. He has to take the bus to work for this week. At least he has this weekend to fix anything with his car.

Standing Stones 2010
Dates: July 27-31, 2010
Church camp as most call it but it's called, Standing Stones. It was in Greenville, Missori. It is too humid and hot there.
I think I've gotten closer to God. I want to know about Jesus and his miracles. I want to have my own testimony. I need you more than ever God!

Being a "vegetarian"
Being one for a month, or committing to it was hard and yes I craved meat sometimes but that was only sometimes. I think it was because in my pasta craze, I didn't want any meat in it. I love my spring veggies and creamy pasta. I think my pasta craze is starting to die down and I'm going back to baking or something. I want to bake sweets and eat them all day. Okay so probably not all day but I want to do that. :D
Wish me luck!

Which of these do you find quite ridiculous?

Penne Fresca - Noodles and Company replica
So I tried to make their Mediterrian pasta dish, Penne Fresca. I think I succeeded. It actually tasted better and the wine wasn't so strong. Lexa and I also had spinach salad. We had different dressings because I didn't want ranch and she didn't want my Basil&lime juice infused with olive oil(which was AMAZING!!).
**All items can be store bought** So in order to make this dish, all you really need is a box of Penne pasta, one big tomato, half of a big red onion or a medium size red onion, about half of a bunch of spinach, olive oil, a couple cloves of garlic, black pepper, salt, parmesan cheese, white wine, and parley/basil.
Start of with boiling the water. You can rinse the spinach at this time. Once it's boiling cook Penne pasta for about 8 minutes. Let the pasta cook(the noodles aren't ready!!). While waiting you can mince the garlic, dice the tomato, and slice the red onion. Now with a medium size sauce pan pour about 3 tablespoons of olive oil into the pan. Heat the pan to simmer or a 2. Let the oil get a little hot. Once the oil is ready, put the garlic in. Cook it for about 20 seconds or when it's turning a little brown. Now you want to put the red onions in and start cooking that.
*Always stir and check noodles to see if it's ready. If it is, strain it and set it aside*
Cook red onions for about 2-4 minutes then add tomatoes. Sprinkle some salt and 1 1/2-2 tablespoons of white wine. Cook for another 2 minutes. Put about a handful of spinach in the pan with the red onions and tomatoes. Once the spinach turn a little softer, toss in the pasta and mix for another minute. Lastly add some black pepper and quickly toss. Once placed on a plate, put some parmesan cheese on top. Serve while hot because it's even more yummy. Makes about 6-8 servings. :D
Now my next attempt is with Penne pasta again. As in the previous blog I will try Penne with Aspargus and oven-dried tomatoes.

Lemon Pasta with Roasted Shrimp!
Was a total success. Although I was racing against time and trying to focus on what the professor was saying on the laptop. If I'd known that class was going to end at 1:40 I would've waited to make my pasta. I wasn't even that hungry. Oh it was so good though. The two flavors, roasted shrimp and tossed pasta, was quite the combination. I mean the flavorful shrimp kinda made the pasta seem a little plain but you could really taste the lemon in the pasta. I might have added a tad too much butter. I'll probably add less butter in my next attempt and probably a little bit more pepper for taste. I might add some herbs in it as well. It's so yummy and simple to make. Here's the recipe and I hope you enjoy!

*Sigh* My first cup of coffee in a month.
Is surely great! I love it! I miss my lovely coffee in the morning. I think I need to get new coffee too! From Starbucks! Hey Neth, hook it up!
Monday, May 31, 2010
Should I do it today?...
Today's the last day but I really want a frap! lol. I guess I'll just wait. I'm excited to get more tan today! lmao
Friday, May 21, 2010
YES!
The month is almost over and I can once again drink my wonderful cup(s) of coffee. I really can't wait. I've been so tempted to make coffee in the morning! I know it might sound crazy making hot coffee in the the hot summer but it's yummy and I love it. Don't worry, I won't forget about the cold coffee drinks and fraps. :D
As for next month, Lexa and I have decided to become vegetarians. It's only for a month so it shouldn't be that hard. I've actually done it for a few months and loved it. I would love some Eggplant tofu right now. Oh how I miss the Panda Xpress days...

Oh how time flies...
The month's almost over and I've done pretty good without any coffee. Ah! My grades are really not the best this semester. My GPA has never been this low before. What worries me the most right now is where I'm going to live in St.Cloud for the fall since future roomies are backing out. Ugh, so much work to do!
Monday, May 17, 2010
Tummy hurts.
Came back from camping yesterday and it was quite successful. Then I wanted to celebrate it with the rest of the HSO members that were still in St.Cloud. I wanna thank everyone for making it fun last night. :D Although I'm having a horrible hangover. ugh. I want some coffee!

Wednesday, May 5, 2010
Yep That's right!!!
It's been 5 days without coffee. I'm getting there. Jeez, I'm so tired lately. I think it's because I'm not taking my regular intake of coffee. OMG, I made upside-down pineapple cake for our future roommate meeting. It was dee-licious. But in the end, the other girls didn't come up so Nancy, Popo, Lexa, and I just talked about what should happen but we can't make a final decision without the opinion of the others girls. Oh gosh, it's gonna be hectic!
I WANNA GO WATCH WICKED!!

Oh okay fine.
So I know I haven't been so successful on my 30days activities but I will this time. Starting tmw, I'm going to give up coffee. Yes that's going to be super uber hard but I think I can do it. I'll be giving up coffee and working out at least 2 hours a day. :D Sounds good?!
Well have a great weekend!!

Is chivalry dead?
For those that doesn't know what chivalry is, it's a group of "knights" or gentlemen. So where are these "gentle"men?
So I was in the cultural center on campus and talking with YangKia about Xue about our argument last night. Then Nancy raises her voice to her boyfriend(who's on the phone with her). We both look at her shocked because we've never seen her that way.
"Why are you gonna get mad at me when I say LilCrazed is hot! Of course he's hot but that doesn't mean I gonna leave you for him or something. He's coming to Epic to perform and stuff! Don't make me mad because my birthday is right around corner and I don't need this shit!!"
So why does most guys get "jealous" or defensive when you say that another guy is "hot"? I mean to tell the truth, if a guy was checking out a woman I'd be like, "Yea she's pretty cute/pretty," and hey if she's really hot, then of course I'll say she's hot. Why do guys have to get so defensive about this?
I even told Yangkia that at times, I have a guy friend that says that this celebrity, whose a guy, is pretty hot. I first thought it was funny but then hey! It's cool to know that you find some guys very attractive. That doesn't mean you're into stuff about that. You're just realizing their outer beauty as many other women do to other attractive women in the world. Then we both came to a consensus that this guy friend could and possibly metrosexual but whatever. Then he said that I should be more girly. How in the world can I get even more girly than this, right? So I asked, "How do I become more girly?"
"You could act more blonde."
"So only blondes are girly girls?"
"Well guys find blonds more attractive."
"But don't most people stereotype blondes as dumb. So are you implying that girly girls are dumb."
And so the conversation about masculinity and better wives and then Yangkia didn't want to argue no more. A question that went constantly through my head was, why do some guys act so needy now? Are gender roles in relationships turning around now?
Gosh It has been a really long day.

Day 22, 23, 24, 25
Day 22: I went in and did my office hours. Man, there has been a lot of stuff that's happened in the past for HSO. I hope I can do my best!
Atwood Afterdark: Going back to your childhood, was pretty fun. We made a stuff toy animal, our own cups(sippie/mug), puppets, had some snow cones/corn dogs, and took some really cool pics.
Day 23: Saturday's event, Spring Festival!
Day 24: I did wear the polo but I forgot to take pictures. I bought an eggroll from the bake sale. The were fundraising for the new Somali families that were coming in with very low income. The money would go to help those families with housing and food.
Day 25: Primary colors day! I couldn't find my denim leggings from Wal-mart. I'm sad. I don't know where I put them. Well have a great day!

Day 17,18,19
So I went to Albertville w/ Sia&Luey. It was so cute watching them flirt and buy each other stuff. lol!
On Sunday we talked about sex at church. I love this new series. It's opened my eyes to everything and made everything a little bit more clearer. When we got home, we cleaned the yard. hard hard work. Sia wanted to go fishing w/ Luey and his friends so we did. Didn't catch any fish although I broke the fishing pole. That was fun. DQ was fun too. I got the Raspberry Truffle blizzard. How yummy! Well I'm too lazy to take pictures today but it's just Polo w/ heels day. :D

Day 16: Day of Silence!
The National Day of Silence brings attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in schools. Each year the event has grown, and now hundreds of thousands of students participate to encourage schools and classmates to address the problem of anti-LGBT behavior. Founded in 1996, the Day of Silence has become the largest single student-led action towards creating safer schools for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Find out more about the Day of Silence at the links below.

04152010.
So this is all I remember so far:
So for some reason, I had a friend that let me borrow their 4runner to go see Xue. So I decided to take Sia with me because it was summer.
So, Me and Sia were coming out of a grocery store that looked so much like Food-4-less(Merced, CA). We were all happy because we were gonna go visit Xue and have fun. We were discussing what we should do in Madison and I was tell her about Xue's family, especially how cute and adorable his niece is.
So once we got into the car and close the doors, this black dude tries to open the passenger door. I locked the doors so he couldn't do anything. It scared the heck out of me and Sia. We were screaming and screamed at the dude to go away but he didn't so I backed up really fast(don't worry, I didn't hit any of the other cars) and went. Then all these older looking guys(about 40+) surrounded the car and was telling Sia to come out. I was like, "OMFG, what the heck is happening in here!!?" So I turned left and went onto the road.
I was so freaked out. I think I was hyperventilating. Sia was super freaked out. We were discussing why those guys would be after SIA!!? Then we came to one conclusion, Paul wanted her back. ahhh! It was so crazy. She mentioned talking to him a couple weeks back and said that he really missed her and wanted to marry her. I was shocked because I thought she lost all contact with him. I was kind of scared for her. I told her she had to report this incident and stuff but she said to just let it go! I was like, "Girl, those guys look so scary! If you don't, then I will!!!"
Then Alex woke me up at 725

Day 3,4,5!
Yes this weekend was super fun. Xuey came for a quick visit and I spent Sunday with the family. It was fun. Easter has not been this fun since I was a kid. We played volleyball and that was super fun. The losers had to run 2 laps around the volleyball boundary and I was on the losing team most of the day. :( Oh well. So today is polo with a vest day. **PICTURE BELOW**

When We Say - AJ Rafael
somethin bout the way
somethin bout the way you look
in my eyes
you make everything so damn easy
so easy that i dont got to worry bout a thing
and baby when we touch
all i can see is the image of us
sitting by the ocean
just before the dusk
sippin on a juice box with
sand between our toes
this is the part when we say were in love
and the part where we have our first kiss
but this ain't a movie
i know you cant come with me
you got your life
he better be treatin you right
just tell me you dont love me
tell me you dont feel the same way that i do
tell me i dont make you smile
like i do when you walk in the room
you're so hard to let go
this is the part when we say were in love
and the part where we say it's forever
but this ain't a fantasy
i know you can't come with me
you got your life
he better be treatin you right
this hurts so much to know that you're
with someone else when you should be with me
its just hard to accept that i cant be around
he better be treatin you good
i'm no einstein but i know a sign
when i see one
and i know you love me too
this is the part when we say were in love
and the part where we say it's forever
but this ain't a fantasy
i know you can't come with me
you got your life
he better be treatin you right

Can't Stand It - Nevershoutnever
Lyrics:
Baby, I love you
I never want to let you go
The more I think about,
The more I want to let you know…
That everything you do,
Is super fucking cute
And I can’t stand it
I’ve been searching for
A girl that’s just like you
Cause I know
That your heart is true
Baby, I love you
I never want to let you go
The more I think about,
The more I want to let you know…
That everything you do,
Is super duper cute
And I can’t stand it
Let’s sell all our shit,
And run away
To sail the ocean blue
Then you’ll know,
That my heart is true
Baby, I love you
I never want to let you go
The more I think about,
The more I want to let you know…
That everything you do,
Is super duper cute
And I can’t stand it
You, you got me where you want me
Cause I’ll do anything to please you
Just to make it through…
Another year
You, I saw you across the room
And I knew that this is gonna
Blossom into something beautiful.
You’re beautiful.
Baby, I love you
I never want to let you go
The more I think about,
The more I want to let you know…
That everything you do,
Is super duper cute
And I can’t stand it
No I can’t stand it
I just love this song. :D

Shall I?
I'm debating about whether or not I should do this.
Let's begin with this. I just love everything about you and what we've been through so far. I truly hope I can be in your future because I am hoping for you to be in mine. You're probably the most awesome guy I've met and I wouldn't want to lose you anytime in my life....
Period.
I think that's it. :P

Valentine's Weekend...
WAS A SUCCESS!!!
Xue came and made the weekend even better than ever. He arrived Friday night with Kash. They ate my awesome beef and brocoli with my 5-pepper pepper. :O
Saturday's goal was to watch Valentine's day at MOA but it was jammed packed so we post-poned that to Sunday. Made french toast for Alex, Xue, and Kash. It was quite successful because everyone had two slices along with some rolled eggs. Went to the MOA and it was super duper packed. I don't think I'll ever go there on a weekend. We had to park across the street and the parking lot wasn't even plowed! I wouldn't come at all on weekends, especially in the winter. Well we decided to go anyways because we were already there and it was fun. The only thing we bought, or what Xue bought, was some hand soap from Bath and Body works. :P We went to Lisa&Greg's around 5 and got there around 6pm. Got ready to go to Osaka Hibachi!**There's a video of Xue chuggin some SAKE on my youtube channel(http://www.youtube.com/user/mimvaj)! In the video, Xue didn't drink as much because it wasn't the first round! During the first round he drank hella SAKE!!!! We ordered the Hibachi Lobster tail with Filet Mignon. Friggin delicious yo! The Filet Mignon was so tender and juicy and the lobster tail with the "yum yum" sauce was awesome! It was super duper uber, fun!!!
On Sunday, we woke up late! Didn't really get the chance to make breakfast so we just ate the left overs and headed out to the movie theater in Waite Park. I've never been there so I got lost. We came back home to get directions and decided to go to the next showing, so to kill time we went to the mall in St.Cloud. Then we window shopped for like a good hour and then went to go watch Valentine's day. That was a really good movie. Totally unexpected at the end but that's how movies are suppose to be right. I think the quote that really got me thinking was, "All you want is love's confusing joy." What do you think?
Well we went back to the mall to actually "shop" but didn't buy anything either so we went home to make spaghetti and Lemon Meringue pie.
This weekend was truly a success. Thanks so much Xue, for making it great and everything you paid for! Thanks Kash for taking Xue up here. You're an awesome dude! See ya in March!
Oh and before I forget, here's some eyecandy!!
